Description
The sensor for traffic exiting from Trailridge Way seems not to be working. I've spent many times waiting (abnormal periods) in the early morning and on weekends for the light to change when there is no traffic in any other direction. Additionally it seems not to allow enough cars out in the evening.

On the weekends between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. the light should change fairly quickly after a vehicle pulls up to the intersection. At other times on the weekend and for most of the day on weekdays, the signal is timed to be in coordination with nearby signals. In order to keep the signals coordinated, the side streets are served by a green light on fixed intervals rather than on demand. The wait time should be between 1 and 2 minutes.
We have observed the PM rush hour and the green light for Trailridge allows all of the cars through most of the time. There are times when the traffic at this intersection is so heavy that all of the cars cannot be cleared.
