Descrição
Cyclists coming from Porter Square have a Green Bicycle Signal, motorists turning right have a Yellow Right Turn Arrow, yet motorists routinely fail to yield to cyclists continuing straight. Please switch the signal phasing to disallow cross traffic while cyclists have a Green Bicycle Signal.
If changing the signal phasing is impossible this turn then needs to be sharpened to slow cross traffic down to a the speed of a baby crawling.

I'm skeptical that additional signals will help here. This is a step backwards in vulnerable road user safety for Inman Square and I'm disappointed that this was closed as WONT FIX without further discussion.
I'm surprised the city's Cycling Safety Ordinance even allows for this sort of cross-cut conflict.

That's odd, let me contact CPD about the website issue. You may also call 617-349-3300 (CPD non-emergency line) to speak with someone about the incident and/or request traffic enforcement but I have sent this directly to CPD enforcement as well.
We will evaluate the intersection for further safety improvements. I do think the additional flashing arrow (that will be installed far-side as we have flashing yellows near-side already) will be helpful for this issue.
Tell us how we're doing by completing a short survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/CambServiceRequests

I don't think any number of flashing right arrows will get the message across to drivers that they have to yield to cyclists on their right.
The best solution is for cyclists not to be on the right of right-turning cars, but a sidepath makes that impossible.
If bikes have to be on the right, in the blind spot of cars turning right, there should at least be a sign saying to yield to bikes, rather than a nonspecific flashing yellow arrow.
