Description
The blocking of the traffic light by cars trying to get through the intersection is out of control. Traffic backs up onto the memorial bridge every night as cars cannot pass onto the Charlestown bridge because the lane is fully blocked. Can you please fix this

So many people have created tickets for this intersection, but the state owns it and Cambridge no control over it.
I live on that corner in the tall apartment building facing this intersection. I work from too. There’s CONSTANT HORN HONKING all day long, and it gets worse during rush hours. It’s to the point that we are going to move due to the constant horn/noise.
I’ve emailed the state about it and actually spoke to someone in person about it. They’re saying they did a study on it a few years ago and it’s the best it can get. I told them they need to place a state police officer there every day to direct traffic.
I called the state police located on the other side of the draw bridge. Explained how it was being blocked and people were running red lights. Their response: “it sounds like people just need to not block the intersection.” I was flabbergasted!! So I called the main state police office and complained. They said, “we have all our officers out on more important calls and can’t be wasting time directing traffic.”
I’m out of ideas on how to get this intersection fixed. It’s a complete @#$% show. Maybe we need to call the governor?? Ideas??
